The Technical Consultation on Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing was held in Rome, Italy, from 2 to 6 October 2000. The Consultation worked towards concluding a draft international plan of action (IPOA) to prevent, deter and eliminate illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing.
