Resumen
Descripción
Embryogenic cell suspension cultures were established from meristems cut from proliferating cultures of shoot tips and grown on MS medium with 5 µsmallcap˜M 2,4-D and 1 µsmallcap˜M zeatin. Embryogenic globules were formed in the presence of 100 mg myoinositol/litre without growth regulators, and these matured and germinated in the presence of BA or zeatin. Plantlets were then transferred to semi-solid medium and eventually to soil. Plant recovery frequencies from somatic embryos were 10.0-14.5%.
