Trout farming is an ideal option for sustainable use of water resources in mountainous regions because here both surface and underground waters are suitable for this purpose.
In regions where income-generating and employment opportunities are scarce, trout farming could help to ensure employment and steady incomes ,In addition to the production, trout farming could also ensure increased income and employment through angling tourism, restaurants and related services.
