To coincide with this year’s International Mountain Day (IMD) theme on 11 December “Sustainable mountain tourism”, the info sheet will present key messages related to Tourism in Mountains. It will help raise awareness about the role of tourism in Mountains and how it can can contribute to create additional and alternative livelihood options and promoting poverty alleviation, social inclusion, as well as landscape and biodiversity conservation and community well-being
