The Bulletin provides Desert Locust situation updates in Uganda, with highlights on control measures, livelihoods and coordination activities. the Desert Locust Bulletin is a periodical publication by FAO Uganda, to provide partners and donors with regular updates on the Desert Locust situation and response in Uganda. The Bulletin provides updates on Desert Locust sightings in the country and response efforts to manage the crisis. The latter is enshrined in three pillars of FAO Uganda’s response support, namely: Curbing the spread and control operations, Safeguarding livelihoods and promoting early recovery, as well as Coordination and preparedness. With the Desert Locust upsurge gone, this issue of the Bulletin provides updates on some of the achievements registered by the country office during the Desert Locust Response in Uganda
