Resumen

Descripción

Malaysia is a low vulnerable country in terms of food security. There is adequate food production, stability in food supplies and physical and economic access to food by the vulnerable sections of the population. The challenge is to be self-sufficient in most food requirements as well as to reduce dependence on food imports. Malaysia’s self-sufficiency programme focuses on rice.
