This Project forms part of an EU Action with two major areas of intervention aimed at a single objective of post-COVID economic recovery and transition to a sustainable, socially just, resilient and climate neutral economy in Uzbekistan. The Project will contribute, under the overall EU Action, to supporting the country to decouple economic growth from climate change and environmental degradation through increasing capacities, tools and coordination mechanisms, while addressing key elements towards improved chemical and chemical waste management in Uzbekistan.
