| dc.description | The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Text makes provisions for the global protection of plant health from pests. The Convention aims to guide the 185 IPPC contracting parties' national plant protection organization as well as policy- and decision-makers and national administrators. The Convention seeks to promote international cooperation in protecting plants, agricultural products, and natural resources from pests, to support achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals to end poverty and hunger, protect the environment from the impacts of climate change, and to facilitate safe international trade. | |
