Descripción
La región andina, debido a su geografía y diversidad ecosistémica, es muy afectada por el cambio climático, especialmente durante los inviernos fríos que dañan cosechas y afectan la salud de las familias. Un proyecto se centra en el uso de la energía solar para calentar agua en escuelas situadas a más de 3400 metros de altura, mejorando la higiene y reduciendo enfermedades en estas comunidades. Este proyecto también incluye la formación de maestros en el uso de energías renovables y busca integrar estos proyectos en los presupuestos participativos de los gobiernos locales para asegurar su sostenibilidad.
The Andean region, due to its geography and ecosystem diversity, is highly affected by climate change, especially during cold winters that damage crops and affect the health of families. One project focuses on the use of solar energy to heat water in schools located at an altitude of more than 3,400 meters, improving hygiene and reducing disease in these communities. This project also includes training teachers in the use of renewable energy and seeks to integrate these projects into local government participatory budgets to ensure their sustainability.
