Descripción
This report provides estimates of the relative prevalence of FMDV lineages in each virus pool, on the basis of the results of the previous months of laboratory findings and the relative contribution of each country in the region to the burden of FMDV in circulation.
This monthly report is used for providing essential information on the distribution of FMD worldwide and for understanding its evolution within and across the regions. Information is gathered using several data sources including, OIE WAHID World Animal Health Information Database, FAO World Reference Laboratory for FMD (WRLFMD) and FAO Global Animal Disease Information System (EMPRES-i)
