Product 8 of the Sectorial Fishery Programme aims to support the fishery administration of Madagascar in its role in the promotion of the fishery sector by use of funds for fishery and aquaculture development. The document provides an interim report of activities conducted, analysing in part 1 the constraints and limits of the initial concept of funds and in part 2, the actions conducted since March 1997, when the new ministerial equipe came into being.
