Descripción
The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, through the Special Fund for Emergency and Rehabilitation Activities, contributed USD 1 million to the FAO project, "Supporting vulnerable communities to anticipate and mitigate the impact of potential El Niño-induced floods in Kenya", which was implemented from 1 July 2023 to 31 March 2024. The project aimed to safeguard and strengthen agriculture-based livelihoods (both crop and livestock) in flood-prone communities in Kenya.
