dc.descriptionFiji was chosen as one of the five small-island developing states to pilot the FIVIMS (Food Insecurity and Vulnerability Information Mapping System) Initiative under the European Union-funded project GCP/INT/742/EC. Other pilot countries included in the project are Barbados, Cape Verde, Comoros and Samoa. In several countries, including Fiji, a key part of this project was the development of a national FIVIMS strategy.
