The EuFMD publishes a quarterly report on the FMD Disease situation, based on information sources that include databases such as EMPRES-AH/GLEWS, EMPRES-i, OIE WAHID, WRLFMD.
This report covers foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) activities for July-September 2022. During the past three months, the World Reference Laboratory for Foot-and-Mouth Disease (WRLFMD) has reported test results for samples received from Ethiopia, Indonesia, Israel, Mongolia, Palestine, Thailand, UAE. There have also been sequence submissions from Botswana (BVI), Egypt (from GenBank), Ghana (NCFAD), Indonesia (Pusvetma), Niger (LABOCEL & ANSES) and Zimbabwe (BVI).
