dc.descriptionFISH4ACP, an initiative of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (OACPS) that aims to improves the economic, social, and environmental sustainability of fisheries and aquaculture value chains in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific, aims to stimulate sustainable growth of the Nile tilapia sector in Côte d'Ivoire. Nile tilapia represents a source of affordable and safe supply of animal protein, while a stronger tilapia value chain can create jobs and provide an income for the rural population. FISH4CP is implemented by FAO with funding from the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
