The Joint Centre for Zoonotic Diseases and Antimicrobial Resistance (CJWZ) is pleased to present the new issue of the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Newsletter. The AMR Newsletter aims to provide information on FAO's efforts to address AMR at global, regional and national levels in the food and agriculture sectors. It includes contributions from AMR focal points and team members at headquarters, regional and liaison offices. This issue includes the following topics, among others:
- Informative sessions for piloting the International FAO Antimicrobial Resistance Monitoring (InFARM) IT platform
- Action to support implementation of Codex AMR Texts (ACT) project
- Updates from the regions: FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific
