This is the first edition of the Dryland Sustinable Landscapes Impact Programme (DSL-IP) newsletter, designed to be shared with donors, members and other stakeholders. It includes the latest news, events and stories from the programme. It begins with highlights from the past couple of months, including events at UNCCD's Conference of the Parties held in May. It then goes on to give an overview on the key aims and goals of the DSL-IP programme, and updates on progress of the project's implementation in the 'child countries', where the programme is beginning its work. Lastly, there is a case study of work in Mongolia.
