Through its Strategic Objectives and Programmes, FAO has developed a flexible structure adapted to the multi-sectorial nature of the 2030 Agenda. However, the current shape of food, urban or transportation systems and the growing size and influence of private sector corporations call for exploring new ways of engaging with these and other actors. Likewise, digital revolution, artificial intelligence and other technological developments require a continuous effort to keep the Organization on the front line in meeting the challenges of ending all forms malnutrition and promoting sustainability, inclusion, efficiency and resilience.
