The agricultural sector suffers from serious underinvestment with additional investment of USD 265 Billion per year needed to achieve zero hunger (SDG 2) and eradicate poverty (SDG 1). However, not all kinds of investments contribute to these goals; it is important to not only ensure more, but also responsible investments that cater to the needs of communities and the broader environment. This flier highlights the need for responsible investments, the CFS Principles for Responsible Investments in Agriculture and Food Systems and FAO's umbrella programme to support responsible investments.
