dc.descriptionThe objective of the study was to evaluate the effect of microclimate on the water intake of grazing Nelore cattle. The animals were evaluated in the period of October/2023 to February/2024, totaling 118 days. We used 38 Nellore uncastrated males, body weight 301.21 ± 28.58 kg and age 12.87 ± 1.13 months, kept in a Brachiaria brizantha cv. Marandu (18.94 ha) and Brachiaria brizantha cv. Xaraés (9.85 ha), receiving mineral supplementation. The animals were identified with an electronic RFID tag compatible with an electronic drinking system (Ponta®), equipped with a weighing station.
