This brochure highlights the importance of heritage agricultural systems in promoting food security, biodiversity conservation, and rural development. It introduces the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) framework and outlines how potential GIAHS sites in Türkiye can contribute to this global initiative. The brochure also aims to raise awareness, preserve traditional agricultural knowledge, and encourage stakeholder engagement. By providing a roadmap for integrating Türkiye's agricultural heritage into the GIAHS network, it emphasizes the country's vital role in safeguarding its rich agricultural legacy for future generations.
