The aim of this report is to provide a summary assessment of the existing institutional capacity in Samoa to undertake integrated FIVIMS-related work. The document was used as a background for discussions at the national FIVIMS strategy workshop (30 September – 4 October, 2002) on a contextual framework for FIVIMS-type work in Samoa.
