This information flyer summarizes the results of the FAO Technical Cooperation Project: TCP/RAS/3502, Reduction of post-harvest losses in horticultural chains in SAARC Countries. Technical improvements were piloted in Sri Lanka with stakeholders in traditional banana supply chains. Qualitative and quantitative losses and shelf-life were assessed.
