dc.descriptionThis study used a single-country 50-sector CGE model to evaluate the impacts of 24.03%, 23.72%, and 33.11%, tariff reductions on agriculture, livestock, and fishery, respectively, after Taiwan's accession to the WTO. Results show that imports of agriculture, livestock, and fishery would increase by 52.98%, 86.48%, and 216.57%, respectively, and the domestic production of agriculture would experience the biggest reduction of 16.2%.
