45 rice genotypes obtained by different breeding techniques were classified in "Los Palacios" Rice Research Station. The evaluated variables comprise morphological and agronomical characters, which were sown according to a Modified Augmented Desing (MAD), using the Standard Evaluation System for Rice and Varietal Description Form for the study. For genotype classification, data matrix obtained was processed by Main Components, Cluster and Discriminant Analyses. Significant correlations were appreciated among variables, besides varieties and lines were grouped in 10 classes. The existence of substantial differences in the analysed germplasm and the correct use of multivariate techniques guarantee the development of future breeding programs.
