Arena is a free, open-source, cloud-based multifunctional platform for effective survey design, data entry, management, processing, and reporting of forest inventories and other field data collection campaigns. The tool ensures robust databases and helps generate accurate statistics with minimal effort thanks to a user-friendly interface.
Developed under the Open Foris Initiative of the Forestry Division of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO), it can perform and upscale the complex tasks of Open Foris Collect and Open Foris Calc – within a single platform.
