Following the Report of the Independent Evaluation of FAO's Participatory Disease Surveillance and Response Programme in Indonesia, and the subsequent Management Response of September 2009, the ECTAD Indonesia team undertook a number of activities to address and comply with the recommendations of the independent evaluation. Those activities included the following: Recruitment of an international management consultant to review the management structure for ECTAD - Indonesia. She visited Indonesia during Sep-Oct 2009, Nov-Dec 2009, March-April 2010, and June-July 2010 for this purpose. As a result of this assessment, the ECTAD-Indonesia organigram was revised to clarify lines of authority and responsibilities amongst staff and a pilot staff performance assessment system developed.
