Resumen
Descripción
Productive arable land is shrinking in Malawi, exacerbated by population growth, climate change, and land degradation. This compounds the food crop production crisis that is already below the national requirement. This project endeavoured to sustainably increase crop production per unit area of land through cereal-legume intercropping, relay cropping, and integrated soil fertility management that is specific to agro-ecological characteristics and farmer needs. Presented here is the data collected during the 2024/2025 season in Malawi to achieve this study’s objective.
