| dc.description | The first occurrence in Brazil of the blue-green aphid (Acyrthosiphon kondoi Shinji, 1938) in alfafa (Medicago sativa L.) is reported. The aplid was collected in Piracicaba, Sao Paulo, in December 1984. The plants were severelly attacked showing growth reduction and leaf curling. The cultivars N-29 and Granada were less damaged by the pest. | |
