Under the SUSTLIVES project in Niger and Burkina Faso, partners strengthened the enabling environment for Neglected and Underutilized Species’ (NUS) commercialization by closing critical gaps in market price information. Through partnerships with national and regional institutions, the initiative established digital and community-based market information systems that strengthened price transparency for better producer bargaining power and trader confidence, laying the groundwork for scaling NUS value chains within local and regional food systems.
