<p>The BRCCJ project, funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), is implemented by FAO in collaboration with the Ministries of Water and Irrigation, Agriculture, and Environment, as well as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).The project, which aligns with the Economic Modernization Vision, aims to enhance sustainable, climate-resilient development in Jordan. It specifically seeks to increase the capacity of water management systems and the agricultural community to adapt to climate change.With a budget of USD 33.25 million, the project focuses on four governorates in the Dead Sea Basin—Karak, Madaba, Tafileh, and Ma'an—areas particularly vulnerable to climate change and water stress.<p>يُنفّذ مشروع BRCCJ، المُموّل من صندوق المناخ الأخضر، من قِبل منظمة الأغذية والزراعة (الفاو) بالتعاون مع وزارات المياه والري والزراعة والبيئة، بالإضافة إلى برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي. يهدف المشروع، الذي يتماشى مع رؤية التحديث الاقتصادي، إلى تعزيز التنمية المستدامة والقادرة على الصمود في وجه تغير المناخ في الأردن. ويسعى تحديدًا إلى رفع كفاءة أنظمة إدارة المياه والقطاع الزراعي في التكيف مع تغير المناخ. وبميزانية قدرها 33.25 مليون دولار أمريكي، يُركّز المشروع على أربع محافظات في حوض البحر الميت، هي: الكرك، ومادبا، والطفيلة، ومعان، وهي مناطق تُعدّ من أكثر المناطق عُرضةً لتغير المناخ ونقص المياه.<p>
