This issue of newsletter highlights the most interesting accomplishments of the months from July to September of the year, featuring stories of the B.R. Sen Award winner for 2017; celebrating World Food Day 2017, partnership agreement of FAO with veterinary inistitutions, Technical cooperation of FAO with Agriculture and Veterinary Institutes of Kabul, Nangarhar, Herat, Badakhshan, Balkh, Samangan, Parwan and Kandahar, Inception workshop conducts on technical assistance to the implementation of food security and nutrition strategy in Afghanistan; Capacity building training of irrigation staff of MAIL; Supporting FAO to veterinary services to tackle animal disease and save herds and increase milk production and income; FAO practices tablets in census survey towards e-agriculture in Afghanistan; using tablets as a new practice in census survey towards e-agriculture in Afghanistan and facilitation of improves market linkages among saffron unions and associations in Afghanistan by FAO
