dc.descriptionRainfed and irrigated cropland per capita were mapped to assess the food security in eastern Terai, Nepal. Cropland data is prepared in the context of GEF–8 projects. The data was combined with population data, obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, Nepal (2021) to generate cropland per capita. The main aim of the GEF–8 project is to transform rice fields to improve the region's food security.
