Descripción
This report summarizes the discussions held by Embrapa and the World Bank on strategies to promote sustainable use of degrading pasture areas. The challenge of recovering these areas relies on the need to increase agricultural production and yield in line with sustainability principles. The recovery of pastures is considered a means of enhancing the sector’s competitiveness, generating income and reducing poverty and inequalities.
