En 2025, el IICA apoyó en Venezuela iniciativas centradas en café, musáceas, acción climática, digitalización agrícola, bioinsumos, cacao, sanidad agropecuaria y resiliencia rural. Junto con FUSAGRI, impulsó un estudio para establecer sistemas agroforestales cafetaleros con participación femenina en Lara, basado en información de 92 caficultores. También promovió intercambios regionales sobre Fusarium Raza 4 Tropical, con más de 380 participantes de 50 países. En acción climática, organizó mesas técnicas con 224 actores públicos, financieros, empresariales y académicos para abordar emisiones, economía circular, biomasa residual y huella de carbono. Además, apoyó la D-Future Summit Agricultura 4.0, con más de 450 asistentes. El IICA participó en foros sobre bioinsumos, cacao y agrobioturismo; presentó propuestas para cadenas de café y cacao carbono-negativas; fortaleció capacidades sobre peste porcina africana y promovió agricultura sostenible, asociatividad y resiliencia climática.
In 2025, IICA supported Venezuela through initiatives focused on coffee, musaceae, climate action, agricultural digitalization, bioinputs, cacao, animal health, and rural resilience. Together with FUSAGRI, it promoted a study to establish coffee agroforestry systems with women’s participation in Lara, based on information from 92 coffee growers. IICA also supported regional exchanges on Fusarium Tropical Race 4, reaching more than 380 participants from 50 countries. In climate action, it organized technical roundtables with 224 public, financial, business, and academic actors to address emissions management, circular economy, residual biomass, and carbon footprint measurement. The Institute also supported the D-Future Summit Agriculture 4.0, attended by more than 450 people. Additional work included participation in forums on bioinputs, cacao, and agro-biotourism; project proposals for carbon-negative coffee and cacao value chains; capacity building on African swine fever; and actions to strengthen sustainable agriculture, associativity, and climate resilience.
