FACE‑NDC is a seven‑year transformative initiative funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) through the International Climate Initiative (IKI). The project strengthens countries’ ability to achieve their Nationally Determined Contributions by advancing Action for Climate Empowerment through education, training, capacity building, and behaviour change. Piloting in Zambia, FACE‑NDC works across formal and non‑formal education systems to foster climate‑friendly behaviours, support green economic transitions, and build resilience in the agriculture, forestry, and energy sectors. The tools and methodologies developed will later be scaled regionally and globally.
