This edition of the newsletter provides an overview of the year 2025, highlighted by the management of the Desert Locust outbreaks in the Western Region, the deployment of the Regional Intervention Force (FIRO), and solidarity actions among member countries. It also features the recognition of CLCPRO by FAO as a champion institution of South-South and triangular cooperation, as well as the graduation of the first cohort of the Master in Acridology. Trainings, workshops, and operational research initiatives reflect ongoing efforts to strengthen capacities, promote sustainable control methods, and consolidate regional cooperation.
