Los principales objetivos de esta investigación tuvieron como fines: comparar los niveles de daños causados por el huracán Mitch en rodales intervenidos con los rodales no intervenidos y determinar las respuestas sobre la estructura y regeneración de los rodales dañados en los dos tipos de bosques, y plantear sugerencias sobre el manejo forestal de los mismos.
The main objectives of this research work were: to compare the level of damage caused by the Hurricane Mitch in logged and natural forests and to determine the responses on the structure and regeneration of the damaged stands in two types of forests, and states suggestions for their management.
