This newsletter has elaborated four events implemented by FAO China ECTAD Office in January 2018. The key highlights are:
1. The Forum on Agricultural Collaboration in Support of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)
2. Applying new technology to enhance H7N9 control through rapid detection and response
3. FAO, WHO and OIE hold tripartite teleconference to exchange information on influenza A (H7N9)
4. Introduction of new member joining in FAO China ECTAD Office
