The project contributed significantly to enhancing food security and sustainable livelihoods of the rural population in Kyrgyzstan through the production and marketing of organic products. As a result of comprehensive support, including the provision of equipment, capacity-building trainings, and promotion of products in domestic and international markets, production volumes increased and beneficiaries’ incomes rose substantially.The value of organic products improved markedly through the supply of equipment that completed value chains and ensured compliance with international quality standards. Processing, packaging and storage equipment enabled producers to access new markets, resulting in significant income growth. Training activities covered the entire organic production cycle, from certification to marketing, enabling participants to gain knowledge of European Union standards, sustainable land and forest use, organic production principles, product packaging and promotion. This allowed beneficiaries not only to enhance product quality but also to position their products effectively in national and international markets.
