Descripción
Major changes in international and national law governing the fisheries of the Seychelles are described; Law of the Sea, international organization dealing with fisheries, constitutions and fisheries jurisdictions are examined. Legislation affecting fisheries is discussed as follows: 1) the structure of fisheries law; 2) administration; 3) the contents of fisheries law; 4) fishery management; 5) licensing; 6) licence conditions; 7) species provisions for marine turtles, marine mammals, shells an d aquaculture; and 8) offences and enforcements.
