The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nation (FAO) co-organized a Regional Workshop on Sustainable Management of Fall Armyworm in Asia, working together with the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA). This event was held from 11 to 15 November 2019 in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China.
Eleven Asian countries participated and shared information on the implementation status of country work plans as well as deciding to increase collaboration and information exchange. This report summarized discussions and recommendations on sustainable management of fall armyworm were had amongst stakeholders on the workshop.
