Descripción
This poster illustrates how the process of phytoremediation can help mitigate soil pollution. In this process, some plants uptake, remove and stabilize contaminants from the soil, through different mechanisms. Contaminants are then degraded or transformed into less toxic forms, thus reducing the risk posed by pollution.
