Descripción
By careful selection of soils, equal and perhaps greater yields of cocoa can be obtained on a countrywide basis from a greatly reduced area of land. Areas at present occupied by unthrifty cocoa can then be released for the production of other cash crops, to which the soils may be better suited, or to produce the food requirements of increasing populations.
