Over the years, FAO has played a fundamental role in tackling plant pests and diseases worldwide.The products in the abovementioned informative set are designed to help technical people, stakeholders, policymakers and donors to understand better what actions FAO takes to tackle Transboundary Plant Pests and Diseases, what it has developed and maintained so far and what FAO can offer in terms of Transboundary Plant Pests and Diseases (TPPDs) Early warning, prevention, and control and to better understand what role FAO plays in curbing TPPDs.
