Export value, at $19 billion during the first 5 months of FY 1993 (October 1992-
February 1993), was virtually unchanged from a year earlier. U.S. agricultural
imports totaled $10.1 billion for the period October 1992 to February 1993,
4 percent higher than the same period last year. The United States exported
$42.4 billion of agricultural commodities in FY 1992, an increase of 13 percent
from 1991.
