This publication is designed to assist coffee smallholders with diversification into other high-value crops to offset income loss in times of low coffee prices, as well as to assist other fruit producers in Viet Nam and the region generally. Pertinent information on each fruit includes scientific and vernacular names, general description, origin and distribution, ecology, genetics and improvement, major varieties in Viet Nam, propagation, planting, pests and diseases, fruiting season, harvest an d yield, post-harvest operations, problems and prospects.
