The Conference focused on the market situation and outlook for organic horticultural products and on ways in which countries in the Caribbean/Latin American region can take advantage of potential market opportunities. Thirty papers dealing with issues relating to the marketing of organic fruit and vegetables, including outlets, logistics, certification and standards were presented. In addition, production issues as these relate to export were covered.
