dc.description5.1 million people face acute food insecurity in northeast Nigeria (according to the latest Cadre Harmonisé analysis released on 28 October) – immediate intervention is required to assist these populations. Inflationary pressures in the national economy have pushed the prices of staple food crops extremely high across the three northeastern states of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe; and these are expected to rise further.
