This project was designed to support the MoAI in conceptualizing an agricultural investment plan. Through FAO’s technical assistance, a holistic framework was to be established to collect and analyse multisectoral data on food systems, climate, resources and livelihoods. Using advanced geospatial tools, the initiative was to identify high potential areas, investment gaps and opportunities, while promoting synergies among partners. The ultimate aim was to guide sustainable agrifood investments that generate decent employment, reduce vulnerabilities and support inclusive, resilient food systems, with particular attention to women and youth.
